Jesus puts up a Facebook page

‘Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel
to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich
person to enter the kingdom of God.’

Nothing fancy, cover photo
lambs gamboling in field.
First post
a lovely affirmation.
Got Gabriel
to take a head shot
for profile pic.

By ten o’clock he’d been trolled
by multitudes
with picture of Semitic man.
By noon the page went viral
governments shaken
by audacity. Religious leaders
calling press conferences
to disclaim.

The clock’s guillotine arm
slices hate and vitriol
into trackable segments.
Five thirty news leads
with Jesus takes down page
as Stock Market soars.
